I cant begin to tell you how much fun ive been having with the conclusion ive drawn about james gandolfini. this past weekend I went to a Gandolfini memorial party that had tons of cocaine, hookers and cannolis.
I don't draw conclusions like that about everyone that dies; just about the ones that I think were drug and hooker addicts.
if you ever die, i'll think it was from a cocaine hooker party. just because how horribly you view others in some of your posts, figure you have to be one to truly be able to identify them so well.

It would be nice if the media gave the higher level of coverage of the half-staff orders for the military. but since we're so desensitized to war now, maybe they know people will just gloss right past it. there was a great guest on Bill Maher's show recently, can't remember his name, but they were talking about journalists and how there are very few 'reporters' who report on the realities of war, like they did during Vietnam. I'm not sure if it's that Americans don't want to hear/see it, or if reporters just don't care to do it, or if the large companies who own the fews "news outlets" that still exist don't believe it will help sell their product.
I was wondering where the 'outrage' was though about Gandolfini's order, because i remember the outrage over Houston's.
One of the main reasons is that the US military since Vietnam has gotten far savvier about managing the media and how they cover wars. Much of what we see is carefully scripted. Go off sctript and you lose your access, which means you can't cover anything.
