My God, are people really panicing over thunderstorms now?
i just stumbled on this thread. i'm literally laughing out loud. so what was supposed to happen last night that people "prepared" for? we were in our back yard setting up for a birthday party this weekend. musta got lucky that we survived.
You guys I heard BIG rain drops on my window AC unit. Should I have been worried? Could they have loosened it and made the house more susceptible to predators? Should I have gotten eggs to barricade the window with?
I was working outdoors from 8pm till 4am. I got a bit wet but my poncho and boots held up well. Nothing more than a thunderstorm where I was in central jersey.
Warnings just mean it could happen, not that its GOING to happen.
People need to relax.
