Started out with Allstate, then got dropped just for a late payment. Had some others and now back full circle to Allstate for auto and home. Every once in awhile when the rates get too high it's good to start shopping around.
i have geico and they have been cheaper than any other company i have priced. i looked into things like usaa and manufacturers but they are for elitist snobs and dont let the 99% like myself enjoy their fancy insurance.
Elitist snobs????
Why, because my company decided to join and yours didn't?
Without a doubt NJM is the best insurance company in the world. Have them since 1987 and would divorce the Mrs. before I change insurance companys...LOL
Allstate. I have accident forgiveness and vanishing deductible so if I switched to another company to save a few bucks and got into an accident I'd be screwed but if that happens with my current policy my deductible is $200 and my rates won't go up. That's why I stay.
I'll chime in,,,NJM not the best but the most obnoxious scoundrels,,,yes.
People like them because they give you a yearly dividend but they are like those people that torture butterflies,,,don't want to say more.

I have them and luckily haven't ever been in an accident so I'm hoping my deductible vanishes...I know my rates haven't

Why would you say they are not the best? Just curious. We previously had Allstate, and have priced around...NO one beats their rates. We check every few years and we have never found any company that can get us a better deal... the dividend checks are nice, but in this state, the most important thing is the rate IMO.
We have our cars under NJM, but my husband has 2 classic cars which are insured by Haggerty.
I used Grundy for my classic. Can't beat $233 a year for full coverage and stated value.
