Perhaps that, "Human Jerky", is similar to Soylent Green.

I love me some Beef Jerky--never tried the Turkey or Human Jerky. I think this Thanksgiving I will try the Turkey Jerky. Human Jerky--I think I might have to pass on.

The article clearly states no evidence one way or the other found in the testing. I don't understand why you guys seem to jump to conclusion and hysterically generalize it to all things made in China. In fact, American companies found that China produces the highest quality products in the price range ( and in many cases higher quality than higher priced product from elsewhere) that they are willing to pay for, and that's why they import so many things from China.

I don't believe that nybbler's little bit of sarcasm would qualify as a, "personal attack".
Not by a long shot.

And, frankly, unless you can provide some convincing documentation to support your claim that, "China produces the highest quality products in the price range", I will remain convinced that sourcing products from China is a corporate decision that is based solely on price.

Recently I read that Turmeric Spice from INDIA have lead about 48 ppm...

Google: FDA cracks down on imported spices, it's an ABC news story.

This company also distributes KNORR spices/broths. And basmati rice.

I have been using KNORR spices recently. BUT no longer after reading the article.

I'll post this on City-data in the appropriate forum.

The tolerance for importing poisons from China seems infinite.
Business doesn't stop when institutionalized human rights issues are publicized so what is the threshold for tolerance for inviting death into our country? Are we without ethics? Apparently so and that can be confirmed in our choice of politicians.

China's human rights violations are disgusting but when they start killing our dogs you'd figure the imbalanced scales weighing animal life above humans, no matter how distorted it may seem , would have kicked in a well coordinated consumer ban would have arisen.

We have people boycotting business for opposing 'thought', yet the poison from China continues at the discretion of the federal agencies.

I lost a beloved black and tan to the first round of Chinese poison and I am astounded this has not raised a protest to initiate a revolution by dog owners demanding no more chinese pet food imports no matter how they may be monitored.
