Good results to a bad scene. No good guys hurt and the dirtbag dead. No housing him for 60 years in prison. This is like a weekly occurance now with these nuts.

According to an eye witness interviewed on CBS news, the gunman looks them in the eye but didn't shoot. So it doesn't seem that the gunman wanted to harm anyone but himself.

Sad that someone was in that frame of mind but really glad this one decided against taking anyone with him.

If it's true that the shooter stole his brother's gun, why was it modified to look like an assault rifle? Police should check out the brother asap.

I just don't understand why people feel the need to kill themselves in such a way. Creating pandemonium in a mall just so you can kill yourself is selfish. It must be for notoriety. Go ingest a bottle of pills in your bathroom, or OD on the drugs you seemed to have taken according to the police. Disgusting.

Official gun nuts and NRA position will be that if everyone in the mall had a gun the situation would have been resolved much more quickly and safely !!!

this is why the first thing i do when this stuff happens is turn all news off unless i need to know something for my own personal safety. the news coverage fuels these idiots. it's a vicious circle.
