You're 24 years old. That's the perfect time to live a life of stupidity and immaturity. Sorry love but you are way too young to be thinking in terms of a forever relationship. You both will be way different people in 20 years and the odds of your relationship surviving all of those changes are slim. You should be sewing wild oats now lest you regret not doing it later in life. You should be hanging out with your friends, flirting with anything that catches your eye, and having fun.

You got bigger problems - you were diagnosed with Manic Depression? Either you got some "doctor" convincing you that you are mentally ill and putting you on medications over one bad relationship, all the while fattening his wallet with repeat sessions, OR you really do need help and need to get yourself straight before entering any serious relationship. In the latter case, this "doctor" you are seeing is not the answer, he/she will only make you worse, while getting you addicted to prescription drugs at the same time.
