aberdeen, new jersey?
That's not originally where we were looking, but a friend of mine just called us about this small house that's for sale in Aberdeen, NJ... Does anyone know anything about this town? School systems?

like many of the larger towns aberdeen has good areas and some very crappy areas. schools are ok but nothing great. without an exact location it is impossible to offer any advice |

It's near Aberdeen/Matawan train station, about 7-10 minutes walk... |

7-10 minute walk either way can go from nice to stay away.
We need more info like an exact address or at least the cross streets. |

I don't feel comfortable giving out the address or streets. Don't want any competition.  Just tell me which areas I need to stay away from if you really want to help. |

generally anything east of the train station isn't too nice the nicer parts are in places like strathmere |

I don't think I would know exactly, but I checked out the area's elementary school and it said "Strathmore"...do you think it's the indication that the area is pretty good? I mean there is a Catholic school on the block and small park, seems clean... people seem nice. I don't know, it didn't seem too unsafe to me... |
