Can anyone recomend a good one in NE monmouth county- pref near Red bank area- other than Turning Point...they are great but close way too early- sometimes a good diner is needed for dinner or later....

Red Oak in Hazlet or Yellow Rose in Keyport.

No matter how big the menu, generally not a good idea to order anything beyond standard fare at a diner. I can just picture them chipping it out of the bottom of the freezer....

I miss the Paramus Diner of years gone by... it was located on Route 17 southbound, just before Midland Avenue, next to the Jade Fountain restaurant.
Oh yeah - I forgot about State Line - ate there not long ago while heading over to Bear Mountain for a hike. Good stuff!
