So that breakfast-meat-thingy…

Is it “Pork Roll” or “Taylor Ham,” or something else entirely different?

Hatfield ham for the win

It's a Philly/S. Jersey thing, I guess..since Hatfield, PA is where this company is located and they have a strong presence in all the supermarkets down here...Their pork products are pretty tasty IMO.

When I lived in N. NJ, I would have been like "Hatfield who?", so I can understand if some of you current N. NJ folks are thinking "This guy is nuts!". C'mon down to Philly or S. NJ and try some..ya might just like it

I say pork roll, but my family has roots in Philly/S Jersey.

I think the dividing line must be somewhere around Edison.

Can we North Jerseyan's just invade South Jersey already and force them to call it Taylor Ham? Time to show you pork rollers a lesson.

Perhaps this product is not carried in supermarkets in NE PA, where you apparently live.
Taylor Ham/Pork Roll is a very Jersey-centric product, although I do recall eating it in Brooklyn when I was a child.
