I will be staying in Denville for a few weeks next summer and was wondering if anyone knows if you can take the Morristown line directly in Penn Station in NYC or do you have to transfer somewhere along the line?

Thanks.

Trains are direct to Penn Sta. I have a coworker who lives in Denville. She prefers to drive to the Rt 46 park and ride in Parsippany and take the bus to PABT and says it's much faster than the train.

There is a Lakeland bus that goes to PABT also from the bus stop in Denville and from that park and ride near I-80 & Savage Road.

Thank you for the quick replies. They have been very helpful.

This will be my first time in New Jersey. I remember as a kid, my father coming home from the Patterson area and bringing a salami type thing called Taylor Ham.

I look forward to smuggling a couple of these back to Illinois on my return trip.

Did this for several years. The train station is 20 minute walk from my home. I liked it. Compared to my current commute of 1 hour via car, the Midtown direct was easy.
