Like some others, if money was not a concern, I'd not live in New Jersey. Even with money as a concern, I'm trying to move out.
But it's not that I hate New Jersey, I just like some other places much better. So I'll answer, "Where would you live if money was not a concern, and you had to live in New Jersey". Easy answer for me--I'd live in the northwestern corner of the state, North of 23, West of 284, anywhere up to the New York border.

I am counting on winning the lotto tonight so the question might not be moot!
we would definately buy property on the mid coast of Maine; I would also look for property in Japan, perhaps a penthouse apartment in Fukuoka. Both of these areas have "winters" so I would plan on vacationing someplace warm for part of every February, perhaps Hawaii and then on to Japan.

LOL - my first reaction to his post was "glitzy suburban"? Isn't that an oxymoron?

LOL I would live at EWR if it was rent free! I was waiting for my flight a few days ago in lovely Terminal C when I put "Live From Newark Airport!" Don't make me come down there and beat you with your own cane!

Mantaloking with an oceanfront mansion in the warmer weather, and Upper Saddle River in a mansion with a nice view in the winter months.
