5.6 million - that's cheap! The Fricke mansion and it's property are on sale in Alpine for "only" $59,000,000. I hope I can fit my junk in it!

I love the Watchung area, it's been so built up since I was little but still a beautiful town. Watchung holds a lot of memories for me from sitting in the 64 Bronco while my dad plowed Best lake so that people could skate; 13 bumps, the old castle that was torn down.. to one of the last times I was there saying goodbye to my dad at Higgins funeral home. I then went back there for the tree lighting dedication 2006; my dad was one of 3 (along with a police officer & the judge) mentioned at the dedication. I stood there with such pride as one of the rescue squad ladies paid tribute (the longest tribute written out of the 3) to my dad. It was a beautiful ceremony showing me how much the town thought of my dad. My heart (& my dad's) will always be in Watchung.

The other place I love is down Rt 78 West.. anywhere around the truck stop. Beautiful country there. We used to ride motorcycles out that way; I'd love to have the chance to ride the Harley up that way again.

Not sure how I missed this on the original post but definitely beach front in Mantoloking. Something small with 10 bedrooms.

IS this the Tranquility in Sussex Co. or is there another one? Did you choose that one because of the name or have you actually been there? Reason for asking, if it's the one in Sussex Co., that's up the road a piece from me and it is cute...

I'm with you -- one of those nice oceanfront mansions in Mantoloking, Bay Head, etc.

Remember the house on the Sopranos that Tony was going to buy down there? I'll take that one.
