Just moved to rahway area and will be taking NJ Transit to NY Penn.

My question is:

On the way back to Rahway ( from NY Penn), do all trains from both train lines, NJ Coast and NE Corridor, stop in Rahway.

The on line schedules are somewhat confusing.

Thanks

I'm not sure if it's actually ALL trains on both lines, but certainly most. Here's the Station to Station Timetable from NYPenn to Rahway

The answer is no. Most on the NE Corridor will, but there are also express trains whose first stops are New Brunswick and Princeton Junction. NJ Coast line trains only stop in Rahway on the local.

I just stopped commuting to/from the Rahway station after doing it for a couple years. I had commuted from Metropark before that. Inbound commuting from Rahway is pretty much all local trains, but you're more likely to get a seat. And you've got nearly twice as many trains to catch on the way home. Good luck!

I have taken express trains from NYC Penn Station to Rahway. It depends on what time you get to Penn Station. I usually get the 5:37; if I do not want to wait I will get the 5:28 which is local.
