So I called Petro. They will let me renegotiate, however, I would get charged the $599 early termination fee. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told, no will JUST give you a lower price. The woman said, "you signed an agreement and you could have taken the variable where the price would have gone down as the market went down."

I begged, believe me. I told her, "how would you feel to not be able to have the heat higher than 60 because you can't afford your oil bill??? And doesn't Petro care about long time customers?" (20years)
I think at times she even didn't listen to me, perhaps clicking something on the phone to block out me, because it took her some time to answer me at times.
Oh, and get this. I said I've seen some of other oil companies are charging $2.80 per gallon COD. She says, "they get their oil from somebody's backyard that isn't using oil anymore, so they can charge a lower amount." Is that even true??

Anyway, does anybody have a reliable oil company that works Middlesex County? I figured I will change next year.

Seriously. Just bring in a COD oil company 2 weeks after each rip off delivery. At least half wont be so crazy.

OR get a fuel can and buy 5 gallons at a time.
