Leonia by far has the best school system in that list. US News just ranked Leonia High #33 in NJ.

general rule, if the city follows union rules and lays off excellent teachers to keep not so good tenured teachers, the children are being cheated.


Newark was the latest case of backward edu alive and well in NJ.

Fort Lee & Leonia are great districts. Rutherford & Bergenfield have good schools. Ridgefield's & Secacacus' are okay. Teaneck High & Weehawken high aren't good. Union City's are terrible.

Union City is mostly Hispanic. Weehawken, Rutherford, Fort Lee & Ridgefield Park are diverse.
