Centex homes In Monroe (Stratford: houses, neighborhood, live in)

Does anyone have any experience, or info, regarding the new Centex homes in Monroe. I see some posting about Monroe in the forum but they are mostly related to the Stratford community. Anyway, I would like to get anyone experiences dealing with Centex, the quality of the homes, neighborhood, etc. Also, I know the market is in a downturn - is the builder offering any "discounts" that anyone knows of. Also, if you anyones know how the houses in the development are standing up in todays market - for example I know some areas are harder hit than others. Just curious how these houses are comparing in regards to resale, etc. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Do you live in the development? Any other first hand experience with the builder or area? Also, you mentioned incentives - do you have an idea on amount or %? Thanks again.

We must moved to this development on Oct. 2007 and the builder is great and the neighbors are wonderful. Incentive wise you're looking @ anywhere from $60K - $100K...negotiate. Do your background check through http://tax1.co.monmouth.nj.us/cgi-bi...t_type=0&adv=2
