Moving to Totowa
Hello, I am looking at a house in a section of Totowa called Jeremy Heights... I am from Bergen County so I really don't know the area all that well... The area looks great, but is the town clean? I looked at some city data and the numbers look great... crime is low.. etc... but I'd like to hear from someone that actually knows... Also would like to know high school info since I have a daughter going to high school next year...
My only real concern is that it is very close to paterson...
any takes?

i lived in totowa for half of my life. is your daughter going to public or private school?
the paterson section that is connected to totowa is actually refered to as the "totowa section". it is very quiet. totowa is a nice quiet clean town. there is no place that has no crime, but it is a safe place.
although i am not familiar with "jeremy heights"... which part of totowa is that?

hey thanks for your response...
my daughter will most likely be going to public school - Passaic Valley HS ... any idea how it is there? are there any private schools in the area?
Here is Jeremy Heights on a map... its a pretty nice area that they have built

oooh la la---lol 
very nice. those homes are very beautiful. yes its a nice section. nothing to worry about. passaic valley is a good school. most of the kids go there. if you prefer private, then DePaul (in wayne) is an excelent school. i personally went to PV. 98% of my class went on to college.

haha thanks buddy... ohh la la is right... i'll be working for another 30 years to barely make mortgage payments... don't get married lol
I currently live in Palisades Park... by looking at the city data numbers Totowa looks 100x better

ahhh the 20 miles puts you into the city...  i have city pizza a lot so idk if dominicks is going to be able to top that... i'll give it a shot tho |

trust me....the only other good one is cafe capri in rutherford...take your wife on a date there--she will like it too....
