I was wondering if anyone could give me some background information on the Fox Chase condos. I am thinking about purchasing a condo there but do not know much about the area (social scene, convenience to get to stores, neighborhood information, etc.). Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know the condos, but I live in the general area. Moved here almost five years ago.

Everything is nearby as far as shopping, restaurants, arts, etc., and it's sort of on the edge of rural, too, so you don't have a long drive to get to farmstands, either. You've also got Wegman's down Route 35 in Ocean, Whole Foods in Middletown, Trader Joe's in Shrewsbury.

Social scene will depend on your age, relationship status, and other factors, but it's close to the Jersey shore so there's always something going on. I'm in my 50s and I'm happy about the free concerts in the summer, jazz festivals and whatnot, but there are music venues for just about any type of music you are looking for. This area is very big on bands and music. Lots of writers groups and art events in this end of Monmouth County, too. Red Bank has theaters and nightlife.
