Its pretty much a ride up 78. Also, there is train service to Newark, then the path, depending on where you're trying to get.

I live in Jersey City too.
Westfield isn't the most diverse place in the world, but most people are well educated. If you want a closer commute to the city, it seems to me that everyone is moving into Maplewood. One of my friends bought a house there last year, and another is looking there now. The latter tells me he likes Maplewood because of its diversity, plus the good schools, nice homes, good park, etc etc. From there, you don't have to switch trains to get to NYC. |

Ditto about Maplewood. It is a great area; we have lived here for twelve years and love it. It is a very diverse town; with many interacial couples. The commute is averages an hour door to door.
