Default Parking at Woodbridge, NJ train Station

I am thinking of moving to Woodbrige in immediate future. I was wondering if someone throw some light on the parking situation around train station. Thanks.

Parking at the station lots fills up very early- usually by 6:30-7:00. You can sometimes find a spot on the street, but it's not very likely.

You'd be far better off using the Metropark station in Iselin- there's a huge deck there that's never full, and the costs/times from Woodbridge and Metropark are the same- you're just on the NE Corridor line instead of the Corridor Coast line (they share stops from NYC to Rahway, and split after Rahway).

Monthly pass from Metropark to NYC is about $280. How much from Woodbridge? I would assume near the same but figured I would ask anyway.

If you can work flexible hours, Woodbridge station parking lot will be free after 11am ...

Folks,

Thanks for the replies.

I am looking to rent our there so have not done any research in terms of buying. Sorry, could not be of much help on that front.

Are there any private parking lots in Woodbridge? Let me know if anybody is aware of the same.

Regards,
AG

If you are renting, some apartment at Woodbridge have shuttle to Woodbridge train stations, so you may not need a parking lot.

Most street around the woodbridge area has parking restrictions. Most likely you will get a ticket. A lot of people from Colonia, Edison, and the Brunswick area used to park on adyacent streets of the Woodbrudge station until homeowners complained to the township and they solved the problem by putting restrictions. For a monthly fee, you're better off getting a permit/parking spot on Green St.
