CC is the breath of fresh air who is constantly attcked by people who embrace their beloved granddad, uncle or dad watching the news, oblivious to the latest social justice memo listing banned words and behavior, who say what is on their mind and in a clarity that obama could only wish to achieve as he has to preface his verbalized unintelligible sounds with, 'let me be clear'.

As no one is able to carry concealed except for a few cops, drivers know nothing of consequence can happen, so they emote as they drive to reduce stress. Thus the roadways are a popular place of stress relief and the place to see fingers fly and epitaths hurled. That is not considered rude!

Rudeness is a one way street, as umbrage would be taken at the content, inflection and tone of a like response given in return. So blindness is part of the constellation of behaviors that promote the perception of rudeness.

On a personal level NJ resident are more afraid of you than you are of them....ooops! that's what the bears about people.
Obama could never wish to achieve anything as I'm sure he doesn't think he has a speaking problem as he just loves to hear himself speak.

With CC you get (like myself) Directness, Straightness and Bluntness period like it or not and for better or worse.

Otherwise I agree with most of your post.

NJ is just like every other state with one exception. Lots of well educated Liberals, lots of Conservatives, some racists, some rednecks, lots of hard working people, some lazy people, some Italians, some Jews, some Irish, some Indians, plenty of very rich people, lots of poor people.

The only thing that makes them different from all the other states is that they are all crammed into a state that should contain 3 million people but contains 8-10 million people.

Lots of people want a bite out of the apple but only so many can live next door to the tree.

The thing about NJ is, and people who deny this are either from this sorts or areas (and too ashamed to admit it) or have never spent a lot of time in another state (i.e. think everyone is like people in NJ), the good parts are too expensive for most NJers to afford. NJ is mostly full of rude people and people who do criminal things (criminal ranging from minor things to full blown felons). There is also a lot of corruptness in NJ. It's all about who you know. You can find yourself in a lot of trouble if you offend the wrong person. You never know who knows who, who is related to who, or who is sleeping with who. I've known a lot of people, and these people make good money, who live in public housing because they're a relative of someone. NJ is 90% that bad. Of course the 90% don't think it's them or are from a foreign country (just look at the thread by a Indian wanting to come to NJ and jam as many people into a one bedroom as possible). Of course NJ is great, if you're comparing it to India or some other third world garbage can land.

Only so many people can be related to, friends with, or sleeping with "Johnny" Apple Seed so to speak. We all know a lot of things in NJ work that way.

That happens in a lot of places. It's not just NJ.

NJ used to be full of "guidos"... but now its insanely diverse. It seems like there are now more latinos and asians than Italians. So living here will be no different than anywhere else in the north east at this point.. very diverse, congested, and expensive.

As mentioned..NJ is just like any other northeastern state. Crowded and overpriced yet losing population & money due to the wet blanket that is liberalism.

The above could describe just about every state in the USA and trust me I've spent plenty of time in other states. As long as the human race exits there will be crime and corruption...to stake it at 90% is a very huge over exaggeration imo...

NJ is not a bad place to live, work and raise kids. it's all what you make it.
