I heard about it on the news but when i look it up,i cannot find any information.
I want to jump on that deal,as that is cheaper than the homes in Detroit.

Anyone know about this?

A home selling for a dollar has rent controlled tenants, structural damage, environmental issues in need of remediation, or other such problems that make it literally a drain to own. Don't touch with a 9 foot pole unless you're willing to (and willing to face the consequences if caught by the state) evict someone with a baseball bat, commit arson/insurance fraud, etc.

You have to be a first time home buyer, make a commitment to renovate it, and live in it for 10 years. If you're still interested the first link gives a website and if you go to the FAQ there is a form to fill out.
