Jersey City and Newark. Both left a lot to be desired.

Never said I lived there, I visit there often for the restaurants and food though. I can't see how it is bad, some of the nicest and might I had chepaest restaurants, food, easy commute to Midtown

Sayreville, Toxic waste, clay pits. Even in the 60's & 70's, there was a bad vibe to the place, almost like a Stephen King story. Couple of catastrophic car crashes at the end of Crossman Straight with multiple teen deaths. My high school coach left under less than favorable circumstances. Several teen murders, best friends younger brother killed off jernee mill road, no one prosecuted. This was long before the wiltsey case and the present mess.

Worst place was Little Ferry. I don't hate it for sure, but can't see myself ever moving back. It is a very convenient place to live not far from the city, not from from most places in bergen county, hudson county, essex county; but just kind of a depressing place.
