My wife lost her job 20 days after my refinance closing. Her name is on the list. My loan is already closed and funded. I think I can make payments with just my salary. Can the lender change something?

Why do you want to do that? Am I missing something? She doesn't have to work to have her name on the deed or loan.

When the lender calculated our rate, they included my wife's wages and they think that she has to work for the loan. If my wife lost her job right after closing, can the lender change something?

you closed - that means it's done. if she lost it before closing, you'd be in trouble.

good luck. hope she has luck finding a new job quickly.

My wife was hired when the closing. But she lost her job 20 days after. The lender mailed my wife's office and asked them about her employment yesterday. I don't know why and I really afraid it.
