Hi,

I'm thinking of relocating to Journal Square, specifically the area by Holy Name Cemetery.

Does anybody know how bad the traffic is going to the turnpike in the morning?

Sip Avenue, to 1-9 to Turnpike South.

I think I once I get on the Turnpike it will be OK, but if it takes 20-30 minutes to traverse the 3 or so miles to get to the turnpike, I'll think of something else.

Middlesex county.

I'm thinking of the Heights too.

Not downtown because that would add more time to the commute and its too expensive there anyhoo.

I've driven that before, it's not the worst... 440 to 1-9 barely moves and is way worse. Here's a suggestion: go to tomtom.com/livetraffic and plot your route every day around the time that you expect to be on that road and see how bad consistent the traffic is over say, a week or so. That also shows you traffic on nearby detours you could take, or delays in other junctions that may slow down your exit. Good luck!
