I was wondering if anybody can tell me about living at Residences at Palmer Square in Princeton, NJ? I am thinking of renting and wanted to know what it is like to live there?

Don't live there, it is pretty expensive and right in the middle of all that Princeton has to offer.

They have come down in price since their first offering.

Hello jerseyj

Besides the place having expensive rents are there any other reasons you would not live there? I would be new to the area and thought it made most sense to live right in the center of town until I got to know the area. Thanks

The location is great for intown living, it has a parking garage which is a huge plus for Princeton. There is bus service to the new (temporary) dinky station with service to Princeton Jct Station (NE corridor).

Here is a quick history of this project http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/22/re...sell.html?_r=0

If I remember correctly, when these units were first on the market, they were all for sale starting at just over 1mm, there are several for lease now which allows you to try them out before making that long term commitment.
There are few rentals available in Princeton.

Good luck!
