Westampton did not suffer from the floods recently. I suggest you check with the municipal building. The clerk will probably be able to answer that. I am not that familiar with Rancocas Road in particular. I don't even know if Rancocas Creek meets up with it anywhere.

Wait - you were looking in Hamilton right? Westampton is a better choice for you then the area in Hamilton you were looking at. It is building up and has more to offer in choices. If you don't have kids you can also check out Eastampton, and Burlington. Browns Mills.....and I'm sure there's more ....you have many more options down that way.

Stay away from that whole side of Hamilton. Your better off looking in Burlington County if you have a price restriction. Have you looked at Bordentown? Its not far from Hamilton, and there may be some homes for you to look at....especially in Bordentown City.

cinnaminson, delran....good places to go. That is going to add quite a bit of time to your commute though.

Bordentown City - I wouldn't call it shady. I would call it........people who want to send their kids to good school districts but can't afford the township. There isn't a lot of crime there...yes there are some lower class people there.....there are some streets that look worse then others...but on a whole......its not a bad place to be. I am very picky about where I'd live and I live there for a few years. It was a good place to start until I could afford more. You will be able to walk with your dogs without worrying about getting robbed or something. Check it out.

Warrington St in Cinnaminson is pretty ghetto and near the Sewer Plant. LOL. Which is on Snowden or Bannard.. I forget.

What kind of price range you looking at?

The better areas are going to be everything East of 130 or anything in the section adjacent to Palmyra.

Fountain Farms, Chesnut Hill, Country Club Estates, Morgan Heights places like that.

Upon looking at a map Warrington st isn't near the Sewer Plant, but it is near the RR tracks and adjacent to an industrial park with a bunch of trucks rolling through.

I took a ride down that street today for the hell of it. Basically it's a little dead end street in the middle of a commercially zoned area with some sort of factory on the corner fronting the rr tracks. Both houses on that street looked a little rough.. the yellow one especially, that picture is very flattering.

That area is where lower income people live, so the condition of the houses as a hole are a little rough. The yard is tiny. .

I'm not saying I wouldn't feel safe there, I wouldn't feel "unsafe" in any part of this town, but the only real redeeming quality I could see in that neighborhood was it's an easy walk to the light rail stop (Trenton/Camden River Line)
