Question buying a condo, 2bdroom or one?

I'm looking at buying a condo in a mid/high rise in bergen county. Is there an advantage to buying a 2bdroom instead of a 1bdroom (from an investment and future resale (or rent) value perspective)? Also, does it make sense to buy a condo right now when prices for houses have fallen a good amount while prices for condo's remain nearly unchanged?

JerzBoy is right, 2BR is right for more people than a 1BR. Even a single person likes a second bedroom for an office or some such, so I vote 2BR also.

Is 2 bdroom just better if I plan to re-sell it or is it also better if I plan to rent it out at a later point?
