Delray Patty will become famous soon enough
New Jersey will always be democratic...why? who knows...generation after
generation grew up with it and obviously don't want to change...Me, my
parents were die hard democrats and my dad worked for the city of J.C. and
I saw what it did to him..His life sucked and so did the politics so I vowed I
would never belong to any "one" party and vote for who I thought would be
the best candidate.....I wish more people did that instead of being led around
by family, etc.....very sad.

Did you take into consideration the possibilty that Menendez may eventually get indicted for all the political tampering he's been associated too. If that's the case where does that leave us as a state? I wonder does anyone even the know the history of Robert Menendez and politics in the state of NJ. First off he's a product of the Hudson County political machine, which has been described as possibly the most corrupt in the state. His political aspirations started when he launched a petition drive against Union City Mayor William Musto to reform the school board. Menendez ran against Musto for mayor in 1982. He lost the election to Musto 1 day after Musto was sentenced to 7 years in prison,(that should give you a little idea about Hudson County politics). There are many names linked to the Hudson County machine and many fingers could be pointed at them. I just hope that everyone did their homework before they went into the voting booth and didn't vote for him just for the sake of change. I invite you (and all) to do a little reading for yourselves and draw your own conclusions!

yes, i am originally from union city,( menendez' birthplace) which he constantly uses as "street cred" to win the hispanic and other minorities' support, yet he is doing nothing to stop the attempts by developers and private organizations to turn union city into a rich, yuppie condo and starbucks land where the average rent parallels that of manhattan. displacing over 60,000 immigrant famillies that he was once one of. as if our housing prices in this state weren't horrid enough already. way to forget your roots and **** on your own people, menendez!
