In NJ, you could start with the NJ state police, here

New Jersey State Police - Office of Forensic Sciences

They have a location in Little Falls NJ, close to Wayne

How can anyone here help you out? You're asking about work opportunities in a profession that most people have never heard of. I don't know of any regular posters on the NJ forum who are in law enforcement or criminal investigation.

There have to be some websites out there specific to your desired career that would have that information rather than what is basically a real estate site. But do check out the Work and Employment forum, as has been suggested.
