My friend and I are moving into a new apartment to be closer to our places of work. Mendham is perfectly between our jobs and would give us a smooth 15/20 minute commute. However, doing a quick google search for apartments there I can find none. At least no apartment buildings. There has to be some? There are a couple of houses for rent but we've looked into that and they're just too much headache. Our price range is fairly high. I just don't know how else to look. I just cant believe there arnt any units near the train station. But I guess not. Just wondering if anyone has any experience around the area (not morristown).

Are you sure your not thinking of Bernardsville? Mendham is pretty rural and exclusive, not much of a downtown or anywhere for apartments.I dont think they even have a train station.

I have never heard of any train station in Mendham so just double check what you are searching for. I don't think there are many apartments in that area but could be some I never looked.

There are many more apts along us 206 but that might be further than you are looking for. If your budget allows for renting a house I would consider that. I ve n I t been a big fan of apts.

There could be, or sometimes you get together with others and split an entire house. I'm no expert on recent rentals in that area so you'd have to dig some more elsewhere. Im also thinking some local realtors could give you an idea o whats available since they are local and would know.

But you'd have to build your own train station,,,,,and bring some railroad cars
