Default Buying a 2f property:Bayonne or Secaucus

found one in Bayonne and one in Secaucus. Which town has better chance to keep the renting unit rented out? Need to make sure we have good chance to get the renting income. The one in Bayonne has very very high tax and has a little yard in the back. The Secaucus one is priced higher and with higher renting income but no yard at all. Thanks!

Strictly a jusgement call. Both have easy access (Secaucus a little easier) to Manhattan. I think both places would rent rather quickly.

Default Bayonne's high tax and not-good school

Not willing to pay a high tax for a bad school system though. My research shows Bayonne's schools are much worse than Secaucus'. I was totally surprised. If both have same chance for renting out, I prefer Secaucus. Any comments?! Thanks!

You'd get a better rent in Secaucus, as well as low taxes, and better town to live in over-all. Go for Secaucus.

I have a couple of rentals in Bayonne (will be selling 1 soon too if your interested, lol). Can't say much about Secaucus but the rental I have has low taxes (compared to the rest of Bayonne) and the rentals pay for the mortage and then some.

I have a 2 family home in Bayonne for sale. Get's great rents on both floors, has garage parking for 2 cars, a nice deck, with a nice yard...and more importantly, LOW TAXES! Did I mention the Lightrail train is 2 blocks away? It will take approx. 40 mins. to get to times square via. Lightrail. email me if you want to know more.
