Hi, I am hoping for some help. I am looking to buy a house in a good school district that is approximately 30 to 45 mins to McGuire and near a train station to NYC. My husband works at McGuire and work in NYC a few days a week. Any recommendations for an area we can look at and which train would be close by?
Offhand the big train corridor is the Northeast Amtrak/NJ Transit rail. If you look at Princeton Junction that is like 45 minutes drive to McGuire. As you go further south along the RR tracks you get slightly closer to McGuire and further from NYC. Opposite happens as you go North, so just check where the RR stations areand look around there.
Others will have more specific info, but be aware its over an hour to the city from most anywhere even if you're practically across the river from it. It's a slow town, LOL. getting in and out is not fast.
