Hi there- can anyone comment on the Glen Ridge Jitney? I hear it's popular, but how long does it take, say, from when you get off the train to when you arrive at the northern reach of the Jitney route? Also, are they always waiting for your train or do you sometimes have to wait in line for them? Thanks!

You can find all that info on the town's website here, Glen Ridge Borough - Jitney Bus Service Remember, Google is your friend, use it liberally!

Reviving an older thread (sorry!) The Glen Ridge Jitney site does not mention availability to folks living in nearby towns.
Anyone know if you live in say Bloomfield you can use this service?

The Jitney is provided by the Borough (funded partly through tax revenue, partly through cost of jitney tickets). It is expressly for the use of the Borough's residents. In order to use the Jitney, you must go through the town hall to purchase the passes, and you are asked to fill out a form, including your address.
