needing an FID is un-libertarian. our right to own guns should not be infringed. registration and licensing are against our constitutionally protected rights. so i dont see an issue with the fact that firearms is what he stole. a lot of the added risk in that equation is a result of government overreach.

So stealing a gun is the same as stealing a pack of bubblegum? And people can't lose certain rights if they are criminals?

it should be the same as stealing a product of equivalent value. a gun is more valuable than bubble gum.

please be more specific on the 2nd question.
