This is untrue, and must have been written by someone who is not familiar with the Mendhams. Mendham Boro is certainly walkable, at least most all of the boro, and includes a nice small main street with commercial buildings. Most of the boro has sidewalks, and the kids walk to schools. (the township is not really walkable as it has almost no sidewalks.)
