I'm planning to build a new garage and new asphalt driveway to my single family house. Total new covered area will be about 3,000 sqft. Township would require to build three 6' seepage pits (dry well) for drainage. The cost for these pits is going to kill the project. Looking for recommendations of lower cost alternatives. I live in Warren of Somerset county. My property is about 2 acres. On the same side of where the new garage/driveway is going to be, there's a ditch that leads rain water to the public storm water sewer in front of the house.

We used Far Hills Excavating - they sent one of their engineers out (there was a fee) to evaluate.

The property was in Warren.

Good Luck!
