We want to go to Wildwood and Cape May areas this Thurs., staying overnight. (We're coming from Warminster, Bucks County, PA.) We probably will need two rooms. I wanted a Marriott but they are all too far away. We need to avoid all the serious problems of motels including bedbugs. What would be a good place to try? Thanks for any answers and any other advice is appreciated. We have not been away overnight for about 8 years so I'm nervous.

Haven't been there in a few years, but always liked the Port Royal in Wildwood Crest. Oceanfront, with pool.

Have you checked TripAdvisor or any of the other ratings sites? I've found them to be helpful if I'm looking for the most recent ratings from people. I mean, you have to take them with a grain of salt, as there's always someone looking for an axe to grind, but that's a good place to start and you can typically get rate estimates at the same time to make sure they fit your budget.

Default Leaving tomorrow

We have not yet left but may stay over tomorrow. I will search the Port Royal but won't be bringing along a swimsuit. Hehe! Last time I did go away we went to the Beach Colony in Wildwood Crest run by a woman named Lola. It was amidst all the other motels near the beach and I think they are all summer only. Also I will try the Trip Advisor. I know you can't go 100% by reviews. Thanks guys!
