Hello,

I am currently unemployed and single. I have the Horizon NJ Health HMO through NJ Family Care, approved last spring. I have no co-pays, etc. and except for some medications, I have no other costs either. As you may know, approval lasts for one year.

I've been looking for work and was curious - if hired, would I lose this insurance and need to report my new employment? Or would I still have the insurance without issue for the remainder of the one-year period I was originally approved for, then just not renew when the year comes up?

Thank you...

Does anyone have insight on this? I'm curious if the full year of coverage I was original approved for remains intact for the remainder of that period if I become employed?
