Absolutely Especially if you ever went on Jersey Devil hunts when you were a kid. We used to go searching for the Jersey Devil at night and scare the crap out of ourselves.

Even my dad tells me stories of when he was very young going into the Pine Barrens with some guy who is a famous survivalist type guy? I wish I could remember the guys name. The guy was actually on tv not too long ago demonstrating how to survive if you got lost in the woods- I think this was after those hikers died on Mt Hood maybe. My dad tells me they would do all kinds of survival type live off the land stuff and that him and his friends would scare themselves silly looking for the Jersey Devil.

Yes, had to be home grown tomatoes, ours, or the neighbors.
And, as far as the bologna, did you ever fry yours with butter as well, and pull it together with two slice of Wonder bread?
My grandfather always had the fried bologna sandwich that you described. Many friends and family did too. I stuck with the tomato on white with mayo and salt

Fried bologna is great by the way - poor folks taylor ham : ))) I love tomatoe and mayo sandwiches as well but you have to toast the bread lightly - keeps that wonder white bread from sticking to the roof of your mouth.!

The Jersey Devil doesn't live in the Pine Barrens! He lives in the woods off of Sandshore Road in Budd Lake. He use to live in the Pine Barrens but the home prices and property taxes got out of hand so he relocated to northwest jersey. His new neighbor was the Hooker man!

I think Nicole is talking about the famous mountain in Oregon, it's highest one, with an elevation of 11,236 feet.

This is the kind of useless knowledge that kept me out of the really good schools.

I have a large body of useless knowledge as well - with a Jeopardy contestant dad, I had no choice but to cram my brain full of it, LOL

How well did he do?

Practically every week, (with my wife it's almost daily) someone urges me to put my name on the list for one of these shows. There was one out sometime ago hosted by Regis Philbin, from my understanding, there are several of these shows now. I just never got around to pursuing it.
