We moved from NYC to Berkeley Heights last year. It's right next to Warren. We're happy with the schools, but my 4th grader has a teacher I'm not crazy about. You find that everywhere, though. There aren't very many rentals available here, but you might be able to find something, depending on how much time you have. We also looked at Warren, Green Brook and Scotch Plains, which all seemed nice.

There used to be an Asian market here in town, but it's vacant now. Berkeley Heights has a few Asian families. I can ask around for places to shop.
Those will be places I will definitely have to check out. I have a rental realtor to work with (which I've learned as I've never heard of them while living in Kansas or Florida) to find a place. Thanks for the info!

I work at warren and commute from north edison. Edison has a lot of asian food markets (hmart & kman, and really good restaurants and great school. I live close by 287 so it take about 30min to warren, coming back from warren takes longer it's about 50min. around Warren, green brook, watchung, bridgewater area does not have a lot of asian restaurants or super market. NOt much going on in my opinion.
