Default great new townhouses in Middlessex and Somerset Counties

Can you recommend a townhouse community (not older that 15 y.o.) that has really well planned homes. I am looking for a townhouse with high ceilings, spacious rooms in a pleasant location. Budget 400K-450K for a 3 bedroom.

Don't know about townhomes in those counties, but if you ever look in Bergen County, our townhome is on the market and has 3 bedrooms and is within your price range!

Default How about Middletown?

I have a townhouse on the market (but it doesn't meet your criteria as we have a fourth bedroom instead of the high ceiling you're looking for - plus it's a little over your budget). However, I do know of another unit that might be exactly what you're looking for and is just very slightly over your high range. It's in Middletown (so I'm not sure if you would expand your search a little southward) but it's very close to the parkway so it's very convenient. Also minutes away from train station. It's 5 years old and I believe listed on realtor.com under Middletown. It's a great area - you might want to check.

There is a nice townhouse development in Martinsville, Bridgewater called the Loft. There's always a unit available in this area for purchase. You could probably get one for 450. Check realtor.com to see if there are any available.

You won't be able to get a townhouse in the Loft for $450,000. At least not yet. The lowest selling townhome in that development sold for $482,000. It was a 2 bdrm. The lowest listing price currently on the market is $509,999. It's a 3 bdrm. 2 1/2 bth.

The nicest is La Mar in Sayrevill that comes to mind without looking. really nice high ceilings and big rooms. They have different layouts. That is the newest complex that i can think of.
