Hey guys which town is better to live in? Which town is safer? River Vale or Ridgewood, thanks!

They are both Safe Towns with very low crime rates. Each town has different benefits so without knowing what you are looking for it is hard to say one is better than the other.

What if he was a 27 year old guy who wants to be in walking distance to bars and restuarants?
Looking to find a 1 or 2-bedroom apartment which is each to commute to Woodcliff Lake, NJ? |

"night life" is def better in Ridgewood but their property taxes are through the roof. Mainlky because they have a great school system. So if you have kids, that would be your bet. River Vale is also a great little town but it's bit cheaper on the housing/renting and property taxes as well.

Have you considered Park Ridge? It's right next to Woodcliff Lake and much more affordable than the two towns you mentioned.
