Salon for African American Hair
Can folks recommend salons in Somerset, NJ area (please mention a specific hair dresser) with some focus on African American hair (i.e. African American owned, Dominican owned, etc)? Thank you.

Just a question with no offense intended, does it really matter who owns the salon as long as the stylists know the specialty?

Exactly right. I am primarily concerned about having a focuses on African American hair. However, most of the time, owners who happen to be African American or Dominican have a specialty in providing my hair care.

Hair Salons in Central Jersey
I am looking for a hair salon in Clinton, NJ or any neighboring community that specializes in Ethnic hair. I usually go back to New York although I've been living in NJ for 15 months now. I no longer want to pay the rising tolls and gas...

You guys..I have the perfect spot! Its called Burjazz! I just moved to Orlando and I miss my hairstylist sooo much! She is awesome! Her name is Tamika Fields. She's big on haircare and giving you the greatest and latest styles. Back in the day she use to work for MTV and did quite a few black celebrity's hair. She has done many fashion/hair shows..She does everything! What I like about the ambiance of this shop is that its very laid back, soulful and Its just a great place to get away, get your do done and great shop/spiritual conversation! I just wish I was able to fold her up in my suitcase and bring her along with me.
In either case, her number is 973-762-0004. She's located in Maplewood. Tell her Trish referred you!

African American Salons near Moorestown, NJ
Can anyone recommend any African American hair salons near Moorestown and the surrounding areas? I recently decided to go natural and I am looking for a hairstylist while I am in the area for my summer internship. Any recommendations are WELL-welcomed!
