looking for a fun greek restaurant,preferably with live music within reasonable distance of jersey city.

Your best bet is to Shoot Over to Astoria in Queens. They have the best restaurants and entertainment and it isn't really that far from JC.
If you are set on NJ the only place I know of are After Athens/ Euro Cafe in Rutherford, Axia Taverna in Tenefly & Varka in Ramsey.

There's a place called "It's Greek to me" in Cliffside Park which is about 10 miles from JC. There's also one in Fort Lee.

They have a location IN Jersey City on Newark Avenue. |
