No matter, unless you have an Elephant rifle by your side, dont get out of the car there. Those poor people hear gun fire and dont even flinch. They dont even hit the deck. They are immune to gun fire.

Have you lived in Paterson????
I lived in Paterson for over 10 years and never heard a gun shot.
I'm not saying that there isn't crime or drugs in Paterson but I have noticed that people that have never lived there like to say how horrible Paterson is without really knowing.

The criminal element in Paterson is fueled by out of towners from the suburbs coming into the city for drugs & prostitution. It's just a crime prevention tactic, I would not take it personal.

LMAO, yeah you would stand out calling Ellison Street, Ellison Ave. Honestly, i wouldn't hang out on Ellison street at night and I'm black. But again, Paterson as a whole is not the dangerous element that folks who are not familiar claim.

Now its wrong to shop in paterson if your white? I love the shopping there and the people are always nice to me. People really need to stop with the "Oh my God, we're in a black neighborhood, run." How would you like it if black people go into a white neighborhood and gets scared too. If you approach people like people and not by their color, maybe their wouldn't be so much hostility. I love all my Paterson people and you can come and talk to me anytime, your white girl who loves Paterson :-)

Paterson is terrible. I got lost there one time and asked a cop for directions and he told me "holy **** are you lucky I found you before someone else did!" That area directly north of downtown is awful, literally looks like Newark.
