Your last name wouldnt happen to be wong would it?

Westwood and Edgewater are 30-40 with no traffic. They are actually not far, but you will have to cut through the local streets, and the lights are killer

I'm dumbfounded this question. Not the question itself, but the lack of intelligent thought behind it. You're making a considerable purchase worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and you're asking a FORUM OF STRANGERS FOR ADVICE? Look up the term "due diligence," research the meaning, and take it to heart. If you want to know how to get from one place to another, drive it yourself under the worst conditions, aka rush hour.

Default It's just a question!

No offense, but I think shesellsNJ is a little harsh - isn't this part of the research? I don't think this person was going to buy purely on the words of this site alone. I certainly hope the person's replying to this forum are not from Edgewater because we were considering looking at that location too. BTW - what realty company do you work with, I probably won't want to work with you when we're ready to drop down our cash for a property that could've netted you some commission...oops!

I am very surprised at the answer to this. Why the harshness?

For the original poster, I am not sure if it is a good idea? Edgewater and Westwood have very different charms... Both are nice places to live.
