If you want a different perspective of the word Charming try Hoboken.
Does not have to be suburbs buried in no mans land to be "charming".
Hoboken has alot of history and old brownstones. Not to mention the pubs on tree lined First street.

Jersey accent and there is this strong anti-NY/North Jersey vibe down there (The vice versa does not happen in North Jersey). Many (not all) people in the wealthier pockets of south jersey are extremely conservative closet racists (Trust me I know) and are mostly indifferent to people living in poverty only 10 mins away. If I want a homogenous town, I'll go back to the old neighborhood where there is still real charm left.
I know a hispanic family that lives in Moorestown and I don't think they've had any problems because of their race.

When I think about charming towns in New Jersey; Ridgewood, Glen Rock, and Montclair come to mind. All three have charming downtowns with railroad access and older homes.

"Hispanic" is not a race since there are White, Black, Brown, and anything in between hispanics..
