I would just love to live in a very cool and unique town with some ambiance and a small town American feel.... Any suggestions? Putting it another way, if you were shooting a movie, what town would you use for a locale that best reflected "americana". West Orange? Chatham? Summit? Bernardsville? Chester? Others???

Chester gets my vote.
If it were in a more "convenient" location, I would move there in a second. But then, if it were in a more "convenient" location, it wouldn't be the same town. |

LOL! How many times are you going to bring up (silly) rankings from 2005? (and didn't make it in 2006 and barely eek'd by in 2007?) Didn't you say "it's only a piece of paper"? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I only know because they can be a nuisance when you're actually trying to drive or shop! And it's disconcerting to suddenly see something out of place, such as Christmas trees in summer (for Perfect Holiday, I think that was). Anyway, here's an IMDb link to Westfield movies:
Titles with locations including<br>Westfield, New Jersey, USA You could probably search for other places too! As for your actual question, I'd bet there are lots of charming spots. Chester, Lambertville, Madison, etc. |

I agree with Chester. Montclair has had many movies filmed there. I believe there's a location scout living there, so that helps!
