mullica hill, nj
hi, i am thinking about moving to mullica hill nj. it would be me, hubby and my beautiful 6 year old little girl. we are looking at a beatiful house about 1 mile behind clearview regional, around weatherby hills. the area seems very nice, actually beautiful but there doesn't seem to be much shopping areas around. i heard or i read in one of these posts that there may be a lowes/target coming???? anyway how does everyone around here feel about mullica hill, is it a nice place to raise a family?
thanks, any info on the area would be much appreciated.

Mullica Hill is a very nice area. That whole Mullica-Woolwich-Logan area of NJ is the fastest growing in the state. My only problem with the area as you mentioned, is that there is absolutely no shopping. It is however supposed to change.
The Lowes and Target is being built off of 322 near 295 i believe. There is also plans for a "Town Center" type complex in Woolwich right on 322 next to the NJTP. Who knows how long that will take to be built though. The amenities have to follow the growth at some point though right?

We're in Woolwich, right next door to Mullica Hill (although it will show up in searches as Swedesboro which is where our mail comes from). Bought this year. Love it so far.
Right, not a lot of shopping. You have a few options though. One is the Deptford Mall area. Lowes is around there. The other option is finding all the random stores strewn about. Like, there's some stores in Logan around the "beckett" area, there's a Home Depot and Kohls on route 45 and there's some other places in Woodbury.
We bought mostly because this area reminded me of Millstone, Monmouth County, NJ, where I grew up. Millstone was a rural area when we moved there, with not a lot of shopping. Now, it has some nice developments, a little shopping here and there, and you'd be hard pressed to find a home there for under $500k. If that happens in Gloucester County, we'll be made in the shade!!

Now's a good time to move to MH, Woolwich is being heavily developed and has become a very desirable town for Gloucester County. In my opinion, MH will only get better with more amenities and better schools. That should lead to high housing prices over the long term. But it also mean high property taxes.
